I have finished lesson no. 2. I shall return to the instructions for lesson no. 1.
Of the 7 and 1/2 lifelong learning habits easiest for me, I can list only 1 and 2. I usually know what I want to achieve, and I accept the fact that I am responsible for success or failure. Number 3 is less certain. I can accept problems as challenges, but I can be overwhelmed if a computer is involved. If the computer is set up and I know the program that I need, I feel confident. But in general, the computer fills me with terror, and I know from experience that the wrong click can erase whole programs and lead to irreparable error and chaos. For example, it took me more than half a day's work to set up this blog, and I finally had to ask for help to find out how to write a message on it. I have a phobic reaction to the settings on a computer. I am sure when I touch it that the computer will crash, and it usually does. In short, I am fundamentally estranged to technology, which only rebirth in a 21st century body can repair. Lee Williams
